25 sketches
Since my brand is a lemonade drink company, I made 25 simple sketches that could be turned into something in Adobe Illustrator later. I wanted to sketch a brand that has a simplistic look to it. I chose the names Johnade, Espinade, and Quench. Johnade and Espinade come from my first and last name, while Quench represents the main objective of my drink — to quench your thirst. They aren't the most creative names, but I wanted a name that could roll off the tongue relatively nicely.
5 Electronic Roughs
After sketching the 25 drafts on my sketchbook, I chose 5 of my favorite ones and tried to recreate them in Adobe Illustrator. Final 15
After the 25 electronic sketches, I chose the sketch I wanted to create 15 more final tweaks with. I chose the sketch with Johnade and the two lemons. I decided to completely redo the drawing because the lemons weren't as curvy as I desired.
This is how it looked like originally. Both lemons looks too sharp. I also made the decision to change the name from Johnade to Espinade. Espinade just looked better with it in my opinion.
Final
After making some final tweaks to work, I decided to choose this one as my final:
